Agreements

Business Hours & Deadlines

  • Sleepy Hollow Studios operates on weekends only, Saturday & Sunday, 9:00-5:00 PST.
  • We work full time 7:30-3:30 PST Monday-Friday at our primary job and cannot complete fursuit work during these time frames. 
  • Updates on commission progress will be sent during working hours on weekends. 
  • Completion times may vary due to Holiday Travel or extenuating circumstances beyond our control, such as material shipping times, postal carrier strikes, family emergencies, etc. These will always be communicated ahead of time.
  • Current completion time varies between 1-3 months for a partial.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Commissioner must be over the age of 18 to place an order. Commissioners under 18 must have a parent or guardian place the order and/or make payments.
  2. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to begin. 
  3. Invoices will be sent via PayPal and must be paid in monthly increments. The buyer may choose the amount to be paid monthly. Items will be shipped once the entire balance has been settled. 
  4. If a monthly payment is missed, this amount must be paid in addition to the next month's amount. (Ex. If a $200 payment is missed in March, $400 must be paid in April.) If more than two payments are missed with no communication from the commissioner, the commission will be considered abandoned, and no refund will be provided.
  5. Any payments made AFTER the 30% deposit will be refunded in the event of a cancellation. The 30% deposit covers material costs and will not be refunded.
  6. If the items are more than 50% completed at the time of cancellation, the seller reserves the right to complete the suit with changes to the design to be auctioned or sold as pre-made. 
  7. Shipping is not included and will be charged separately at completion. Please be aware that shipping internationally can be costly. Keep this in mind if you are outside of the US and still would like to place an order.
  8. After the item has been shipped (usually via UPS), the seller no longer has control of the item. Any issues that occur during shipping will need to be taken up with the postal service.
  9. Murrsuits will not be accepted at this time, sorry!

Warranty & Safety

  • Products are guaranteed for 60 days. If you encounter any issues, you can return your item to us for free repairs. We will pay for return shipping in these cases.
  • Any repairs that need to be completed outside the 60-day guarantee can be sent back to Sleepy Hollow Studios at your expense. Repairs may come at an additional cost.
  • Extended warranties may be purchased up to 30 days after your suit is received at an additional cost of 20% of the total price of the suit. Please inquire for further information on what the extended warranty entails.
  • External repairs from another maker, modifications, etc., will result in a voided warranty.
  • Sleepy Hollow Studios is not responsible for any injury sustained while wearing our suits. Please refer to your package's care and safety sheet when your suit arrives.

Please note that submissions are not first come, first served. Filling out the form does not guarantee a slot.

The quote provided expires six months from the date your quote is received. Prices may change over time.
